Too funny, yesterday we visited a park by the river for a picnic on Mother’s Day and there was a beat up 1970s van in the parking lot. I told my son that was where Matt Foley lived.

Farley then jumped off the stage and shattered a table in one of his iconic physical comedy gags... Farley was a Buffalo Bills fan....!?

Farley then jumped off the stage and shattered a table in one of his iconic physical comedy gags, causing an eerie, haunting sound that hadn't been heard on the SNL set for decades: laughter. It has been a long time since SNL has elicited any laughter.

The original SNL was must-see TV for me. But, SNL hasn’t been funny in decades and I haven’t watched in decades.

The good news is that the exorcism of the spirit of humor was a success!

My wife ‘watches’ SNL.
It puts her to sleep pretty quickly. It’s even better than Ambien.
I haven’t watched it for more than 20 years.

Without Trump, the whole late night crew is toast.
They all spent four years living off Trump jokes.
Who wants to watch them desperately trying to ignore Biden and Kamalamadingdong?

SNL stopped being funny when Phil Hartman exited stage left. Before then, they had some rough seasons (1980-1981, 1985-1986), but once Phil went, the laughs declined. Only person I like in the current cast is Melissa Villasenor and she is underutilized.

That was awesome! I love Chris Farley — can’t wait for my son to be old enough so I can watch Tommy Boy with him. SNL hasn’t been very funny for a long time now.
