Hell, we’ve been suspicious for DECADES. The difference now is that we actually have someone who doesn’t bend over and ‘accept the results’.

For the GOPe, the media, and the Democrats, they are CLUELESS as to how long we’ve been angry about this system and literally think we were just fine with it, until Trump told us otherwise (without evidence, I may add)...so they figure out anger will go away, if they can simply get rid of Trump (in some way).

Election fraud was rampant in the 19th century if not even earlier. The 1876 election was such a mess that no one really knows who should have won.

Cleveland won in 1884 by carrying New York by an extremely narrow margin (about 1,000 votes if I remember correctly)...supposedly he won because Catholics were offended by the "rum, Romanism, and rebellion" comment made by a prominent supporter of James G. Blaine shortly before the election--but surely party bosses in New York City could manufacture more than 1,000 votes. Cleveland lost to Benjamin Harrison in 1888--reportedly Harrison won thanks to voter fraud by the Republicans in that election.

Another election that was likely stolen was the 1976 Presidential election, specifically in New York. In a scenario such as we saw in 2020, there was an after hours surge in Democratic votes from the New York City boroughs of Queens, Brooklyn, and Bronx, all of which were controlled by Democratic bosses. The sudden wave tipped New York, and thereby the Electoral College, to the Democrats. The result was Jimmy Carter, a disastrous one term Presidency. The 2000 election was focused on one state, in this case Florida, where voter fraud, focused in Palm Beach, Dade, and Broward Counties, was attempted, but the GOP in this case, unlike in 1960 and 1976, put up a fight and prevailed. Commendation should be given to William Rehnquist, who corralled moderates like Susan Day O'Connor to support the younger Bush, unlike the reprehensible John Roberts, who refused to accept Trump's appeals.
