MAYFIELD HEIGHTS, Ohio — Brendon Hrepic says he is still shocked that COVID-19 caught up with him when WEWS spoke with him via Zoom from his hospital bed.
“The doctor that I saw at the ER was like ‘you are literally the worse case that I’ve ever seen post-vaccination,’” said Hrepic.
The 31-year-old essential worker from Mayfield Heights said he did everything right throughout the pandemic, from social distancing to masking up.

>>> you are literally the worse case that I’ve ever seen post-vaccination
Note how he said “Worse” case!.....
NOT “ONLY”
“rare” is the media’s new “unexpected!”
Yes, vaccination blocks 94% of asymptomatic cases and 97% of symptomatic cases (https://www.cnbc.com/2021/03/11/pfizer-covid-vaccine-blocks-94percent-of-asymptomatic-infections-and-97percent-of-symptomatic-cases-in-israeli-study.html), not 100%.
No vaccine is 100% effective. The smallpox vaccine is 95% effective. The pertussis (Whooping Cough) vaccine is about 80% effective. Two doses of MMR vaccine are 97% effective against measles and 88% effective against mumps.
If you were in a bar with 40 people, one of whom was infected with smallpox and everyone else vaccinated, statistically speaking, you could expect 1-2 others at that bar to become infected. Still a very effective vaccine, but it’s imperfect. If everyone at the bar is vaccinated, then even if one of them has smallpox, their viral load is likely so low that no effective transmission will take place.
Grammar police: “The worse” is usually called “the worst”. Worse is relative to others on the spectrum, and we know there are others. Worst is the extreme end of the worse spectrum.
But but look at all the millions who’ve been vacc’d - guess we’re waiting for the wave to hit when all those people start dropping.
So you want to trot out “rare” statistics after hysteria and fear led to the complete shutdown of the country over something that is truly rare for all but a very small sub-segment of the population?
Not news
Rare enough that it merits a media story and is breaking news on Free Republic.
It’s a shame, not even an obituary for any of the 600+ people who died from the WuFlu yesterday.
There’s absolutely nothing suspicious about your vax advocacy.
Hey, we found a guy who didn’t respond to the vaccine and got a case of COVID. Clearly we need masks and lockdowns forever, the last line of the article says so.
“Fear the Fearing Fear”
To be clear the mrna vaccine failure point, during the animal trials, was not at antibody creation but when subjects were challenged with the natural virus. This is the point where the movement to human trials was denied. I have seen nothing that shows they overcame this deficiency.
The declared & reported “perfection” of the vax should have raised red flags from the beginning.
I’m pointing out that vaccination reduces whatever risk is present by a significant margin. It doesn’t make it zero, but it reduces the risk of contracting the disease at all by a huge amount.
It’s not about trotting out “rare statistics” (whatever that means). It’s about a honest and frank discussion about what vaccination is and isn’t. It IS an important tool that helps people drastically reduce their individual risk. It ISN’T a magic cure-all that makes every single person invincible. It also isn’t useless or bad.
At no point has anyone claimed the vaccines are “perfect”.
95% efficacy is wonderful - and it far exceeds expectations - but it isn’t perfect.
There was no advocacy in my post. I posted factual information from authoritative sources.
If that scares you, you’re welcome to close your eyes. Or just stop reading my posts.
Since he’s the worst post-vax case the doctor has seen, then there were more post-vax cases the doctor has seen.
