This is how much of that I grasped: pretty picture. I'm still amazed that liquid molten rock pours out of volcanoes, hotter inside the Earth than on the surface ground. Magnetic forces behind that also, I suppose (inter-planetary electric forces, iron core, friction of plates, etc.).
