I the woman talking about the results of a test for VD, I’d say she’s punishing herself enough. Which kind of reminds me, the other day I heard something new whilst shopping in a local Meijer, namely a pre-recorded announcement about “period products” over the store loudspeakers. It was new and kind of off putting.
Back to people on their phones, if the person were loud, disruptive, and did it frequently after hours when a valid noise complaint could be called in, I would. I will turn the other cheek, but I will remind anybody I only have two, and one may have already been slapped.
Because of the power needed, they only work for about 15 minutes and only cover about 30 feet.
But, I’d turn it on and watch someone suddenly start saying “Wai? Wai? Wai?” (Hello? Hello? Hello?”)
Then I’d turn the jammer off and let them reconnect. If they call their friend back I’d turn the jammer back on.

I've been known to crank up the volume and play the Lord Nelson Mass out the window when stuff like that happens. Even the thumper cars pipe down.
Was it her volume or profanity that was the problem?
Maybe it was the $385 fine, proving again that police are primarily revenuers.
We have no evidence of any of those. Disturbing the peace has always been cop fallback for “we just don’t like you”.
I finally caught up to her, she was pretty cute, but you know “here there be dragons”.
Repeated and constant is different. Although as a fan of really loud music I’m a little more forgiving than others on that.
I never saw this riding the public transport and undergrounds when I lived in Eastern Europe.

I was referring only to you universal claim.

Sorry that bothers you. Maybe you’ve had a nicer life. I grew up in the parts of town cops don’t care about, and we weren’t that into them either. So we just handled stuff.

The white neighbor, who just moved in to the hood, must be like WTF did I get into.
I owned property in hoods like this. There are always some who think their house is the whole block. Probably dressed in what some folks would call pajamas.
Land lines served a purpose.
No, I never got caught. Though I think one or two people sort of figured out what was going on.
