Oh sure. We’ve all had the encounters with the too loud on the cellphone people, including neighbors. Although my personal favorite was the co-ed discussing the results of her VD test in the grocery store loud enough to hear 3 aisles away. But I wouldn’t call the cops on any of them. I remember a time when society just went ahead and handled that kind of thing through shunning and ridicule.

I the woman talking about the results of a test for VD, I’d say she’s punishing herself enough. Which kind of reminds me, the other day I heard something new whilst shopping in a local Meijer, namely a pre-recorded announcement about “period products” over the store loudspeakers. It was new and kind of off putting.

Back to people on their phones, if the person were loud, disruptive, and did it frequently after hours when a valid noise complaint could be called in, I would. I will turn the other cheek, but I will remind anybody I only have two, and one may have already been slapped.
