Little Debbie's product line is a mix of hits and misses. The greatest contribution was the Nutty Bar (now called "Nutty Buddies" despite a mass market ice cream cone that had that name). The strawberry short cake rolls taste too chemically, even for the genre where some is to be expected. The chocolate cupcakes are drier than competition. The Peanut Butter Crunch Bars are acceptable.

The worst junky baked treat breakfast cereal knock off is undoubtedly Post Twinkies Cereal. Drier than unbuttered toast (no spongieness), no creamy middle (hjow is it a Twinkie cereal?) and worst of all, a strong COCONUT aftertaste (?!).

I was browsing the cereal aisle once and comparing the sugar content of a bunch of cereals. The absolute worst is Quaker’s stuff. Their “healthy” cereals had more sugar than Captain Crunch or Count Chocula. And I thought that was impossible. I doubt that Little Debbie is going to be worse.

Yes, their chocolaty twin the swiss roll is probably the better choice, although I will admit the chocolate coating is a bit suspect. It peels off in a waxy sheet when you disassemble and unroll the roll to get at the creamy filling.
