Not good, but considering that they’re building blue water navel vessels at 5 times our rate, along with civilian programs at many times our rate (we’re 40 years into the Second Avenue Subway line, for example...they take 3 years to build a line, 10 years to complete a city)...they can afford a few mistakes.

I hope the bridges don’t keep collapsing, they will need all of the bridges they have for the Chinese people to hang the GD commies from.

I am still waiting for that tall building recently evacuated for wobbling to collapse. Also, the Three Gorges Dam, which has moved but so far held.

They must hire American engineering firms...like the one who built the I 35 Minneapolis bridge.

You can’t build a decent bridge when the steel you use is crap.

If only the Chinese didn’t build their bridges from Sanlu milk powder which is high in melamine and cyanuric acid.

I photographed a bridge under construction over the Mekong River in Laos last year. It was being constructed by/for the China Railway System. I was traveling by boat down the river.
It was a very high and very long bridge. The beams were being poured in place, in a way I had never seen before.
What was odd, was that huge cement beams were hanging way out in mid air with no support. It was some sort of pour in place as you go system.
I put the photos of the bridge on Facebook and within 30 minutes the censors deleted them.
It’s no wonder their bridges collapse during construction.

I have been wondering if they use the same crap they sell us.
