A man visiting from Texas was arrested for an alleged hate crime in Okaloosa County.
Deputies say beachgoers witnessed 54-year-old Wade Anton in an argument with an Asian family at the park. Anton reportedly told the family to “go back where they came from” and made racial slurs.
The family told the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO) that Anton went around the park railing and started punching one man in the face. The man tells OCSO he pulled a gun to protect himself and the scene de-escalated.
Anton told deputies the argument stemmed from the woman’s children petting his dogs and ignored him when he asked them to stop.
Anton is charged with hate-crime related battery.
Are half of them for real?
Well, if he PUNCHED someone, that I could see.
But this Big Brother Orwellian “hatred crime” crap HAS to stop.
Name-calling should NOT be arrestable. Only if it ascends into “disorderly conduct”.
But then, neither should non-masking, but Canadians don’t seem to have a problem with that.
They’re real. Certain people commit them and largely get away with it. Because of who they are.
He was arrested for punching people in the face.
2nd Amendment ended the threat and the punching.
Asians now are the victims of hate crimes when they are the victims of crimes.
Crimes are anti Semitic when they are against Jews.
Crimes are racist against blacks and hispanic (when perpetrated by whites only.)
Crimes are misdemeanors against white women.
Crimes against white men don’t exist.
They are real in NYC, but they aren’t new - just being over-reported to further silence whites (despite the fact that the perps are predominantly, if not completely, black that is NOT reported, but visible in security camera footage). Blacks are fighting with Asians in NYC for public housing (many of the Asians aren’t wealthy, and some qualify for “free sh!t”); I watched an interview a couple of years ago where a black woman was complaining that she’d been in the same gubmint housing for 25,684 years (/s) while Asians were moving into a newly-constructed complex (she thought she was entitled to it, as though here stay on public assistance was a point in her favor).

The Asians were petting his dogs. He probably thought they were fixing to eat them.

An easier version of the story had the asian guy punching the Anton guy first. Again, I suspect much was left out of the facts.
Of course if a white guy assaults someone other than a white person he should be prosecuted in accordance with several circumstances...mainly the extent of the injuries the assault victim suffered.
But adding 10 years...20 years,etc simply because that assault victim wasn't white is absolutely wrong.
Free speech is dead. Who would’ve thought 20 years ago in America that you could be arrested for what you say. not for what you do.
How about Darriynn Brown, the black teenager accused of the murder of 4 year old Cash Gernon in Texas?

Nope. He’s incapable of racism of course.
This is nothing new. The media is just giving them attention now because there is an agenda.
