The granddaughter of legendary jazz singer and civil rights activist Nina Simone is accusing Vice President Kamala Harris of stealing the family estate and giving it to “white people.” She claims that Harris “bullied” her mother in court to the point of near suicide.
“Nina’s granddaughter here,” ReAnna Simone Kelly tweeted on Saturday after someone asked why a Twitter account was created for the late singer. “My family doesn’t run her estate anymore. It was taken away from us [and] given to white people. Our family name was DRAGGED in the media. We get NO royalties, nothing. Wanna hold someone accountable? Ask Kamala Harris why she came for my family.”
“Ask her why she separated my family. Ask her why my grandmothers estate is in SHAMBLES now. Ask her why we as her family no longer own the rights to anything,” Simone Kelly demanded. “Ask her why she bullied my mother in court and my mom almost killed herself from the depression,” she added.

Not that I really care about Simone but it seems Harris has zero redeeming features.
It would t have mattered and still doesn’t to about 40-50 million people.
CornPop and his son could be caught doing horrible things and those same millions wouldn’t care, unless it was their kid. And maybe not even that, sadly.
It could be proven, beyond all doubt, that she did what this girl is alleging and these millions wouldn’t care, unless it was their millions or their royalties.

My experience is that my Democrat acquaintances dismiss all alternative media as right wing extremism.
Now, what she said was perhaps racist, but the sting of what happened to the family legacy might enrage one more so, because of the skin color of the person who received what was rightfully theirs.
Stories like these need to be shared with your black democrat acquaintances, not the white ones. 8>)
Nina Simone’s daughter apparently spent a lot of the trust funds. She chose poorly.

I believe her gripe is with her mother, but its so much easier to blame others.
But also, is there ANY black family of famous singers or actors that don’t make a complete spectacle scrounging the inheritance? Lol.
A little late now. You should have been screaming about this last year while the election was going on. Now Kamala is a heartbeat away from the most powerful position in the country. Sucks to be you. Sucks for the rest of the country too because of your silence.

What do you expect from a whore? She is the textbook definition of a whore. We already know who she screwed to get ahead early in her career. We’ve seen photos of her schmoozing intimately with other celebrities (like Montel Williams) before her Senate run (gotta boost that profile). She basically uses her body to get ahead.
I’d bet good money she would have failed miserably in college if she wasn’t using her body to get by.
I saw many liberals post that Kamala Harris is a role model for young women everywhere (TV told them to say that after Joe was deemed “Potato-elect” last year). I wish I had screenshots of all of them. If Kamala Harris is a role model for liberals, that explains why they’re all a pack of demented idiots.
Did the government receive the estate, or did someone else receive the estate? I think it was someone else, and of course, that was who I was referring to, not the government.
When I was living in London I saw her at Ronnie Scott’s jazz club. She was in one of her bad moods & only played for one hour.
She had an amazing presence.
