Judge Orders Georgia County to Move Forward with Ballot Audit

A judge has ruled that a diminished Georgia election fraud lawsuit will move forward with an audit of nearly 150,000 absentee ballots in Fulton County, according to reports. In his ruling, Henry County Superior Court Chief Judge Brian Amero dismissed a large portion of the claims in the lawsuit.

Neon Nettle getting the scoop on ABC, CNN, CBS, MSNBC and NBC. hmmm Well, at lest they can move forward with the inspection of ballots. That’s the main point.

This puts individual defendants in a very difficult position. In other words if any wrong was done it was not by the state but by the individuals who failed to execute the laws of the state.

And since the state is not party to the suit, it has no interest in defending the individuals.

I think that this judge has mischaracterized the law and on appeal - if it ever gets there - it will be overturned - states get sued for injunctive relief forcing them to follow their own laws all the time - and successfully BTW.
