I wrote this elsewhere...I can UNDERSTAND why certain people will choose to get injected twice with an elixir, whereby only five out of 14,000 test subject came down with COVID19 after 14 days of observation versus 90 in the 14,000 placebo group. True, about 96% of the test group felt terrible after injection #2 (which may have impacted that group's being out in the public and suppressed their infection rate), and the usual FDA vaccine observation period is 2-3 years and not 14 days hence the EUA. Finally, the elixer's messenger RNA platform has never been released for public use. But Von Neumann-Morgenstern optimality varies from person to person, which is why I UNDERSTAND their decision.

I can also UNDERSTAND a different individual, looking at the same fact-set, and choosing to never take that elixir.

Do I see a lot of articles making fun of those taking the vaccine? No...I see some, but not a lot.

But the conga-line of articles by the vaccinated mocking and name-calling their compliment is peculiar...."isn't that elixir supposed to protect you?" Why are they so triggered?

What drives these vaccinated people to become bullies is a doctoral dissertation in waiting.

If they’re vaccinated why do they worry?

As I wrote, and I’m not being flip, I really want to understand what’s triggering these people. Is it buyer’s remorse? Are the new stories about enlarged hearts et al scaring them, but rather than telling people “I wish I hadn’t done it, and you should stay away until more testing is done” they are radioing to other ships in the North Atlantic to not worry about reports about the icebergs?

I haven't been vaccinated because I am worried about reports of stroke and heart inflammation, and stroke runs in my family. I also have a pretty good immune system (knock on wood) and very rarely get the flu, or even anything more than a minor cold. I've also been taking zinc, vitamin D3, vitamin C, and one or two supplements that some claim are a deterrent to Covid.

People I know who haven't taken the vaccine are a mix of liberal and conservative. The most staunch Trump supporter I know is a strong proponent of the vaccines, as is another staunch conservative I know.

The media are trying to politicize this by showing state-by-state vaccination rates, and citing the lower vaccination rate in some red states as proof that Trump supporters are anti-science. But they don't really analyze those numbers, and Tucker Carlson cited statistics that there are much lower vaccination rates among blacks and Hispanics than whites, and those groups are strongly identified with the Democrat Party.

"If they’re vaccinated why do they worry?"

It's a combination of (1) not really trusting the very vaccines they claim are so essential; (2) their need to control everyone else; and (3) their need to feel superior to those presumed pro-Trump, QAnon-believing, anti-science rubes who presumably think the vaccine will magnetize them or turn them into radio transmitters, or whatever those fringe claims are that they use to discredit all people who have questions about these vaccines.

Yeah. I’ve been vaccinated 2x due to work ‘recommendations’. My first shot was with Pfizer in Jan and I had bad reaction 2 weeks later when the family came down with covid. So I skipped the 2nd shot.

To be fully-vaccinated/compliant I had the J&J shot a while ago and have been taking aspirin every 4 hr.s to counteract the clotting. I know if I’ve forgotten to take aspirin because I get a headache -which I rarely got before. Prior to the J&J shot I watched some videos on the vaccine so I knew what to look out for and possible mitigation actions.

It’s always about control.

Actually.... it is the very opposite! Of the antivaxxers/provaxchoice (precovid) the highest percentage were in the wealthier and more educated sectors of societies.

I am not wealthy but I have a graduate degree and I am included in those numbers.
