He’s not woke. A good man.
Wm. Shatner is a very good man. When Reagan looked for secret financing for a raid into North Vietnam by Thai volunteers to free POWs reportedly left behind by the “peace” accords, Shatner ponied up some of the money, many thousands as I remember. And if you look at his career, he did some of the best Twilight Zone episodes among many other memorable tv and movie roles.
He is a good dude. His portrayal of Denny Crane was both hilarious and reflective of good values.
