My favorite Twilight Zone episode is “The Hunt”. I’ll have to watch that again.

To each his own but I don’t watch shows that I already know the endings to by heart.

I catch quite of bit of the old Twilight Zone shows late at night (and then often skip it), but now see the majority of it, and Rod Serling, as predominately “dark” about everything.
I prefer the old Alfred Hitchcock shows more.

Yeah, nothing ‘dark’ in any Hitchcock productions.

I would not say that.
But I do think the Twilight Zone is PREDOMINATELY dark, compared to Hitchcock’s shows.

Back in the day, Rod was known as the “angry young man of Hollywood”.
To: Signalman
It’s a GOOD show! I’ll see the rest of you folks in the Cornfield.

Hitchcock cameramen, (a racist, sexist , homophobic term(add yours) from yesteryear) filmed from an angle and perspective very dif from Twilight Zone. Always liked Hitch stuff. For me T Zone was too much fantasy where Hitch was not.

Please don’t get me wrong. I think Alfred Hitchcock was an absolute genius and I love his work. I was just humorously pointing out that he does have a tendency to see the darkness of men’s hearts.

Decades is available over the air. Also, available through the internet by way of the LOCAST channel in some cities. I can watch Locast with my Roku device.
To: Texan4Life
Oooh, that’s what I’ll do I guess, watch it on locast on roku. Is it free?

I’ve got a bunch DVR’d from last year’s marathon (so I can skip the commercials). This year I’m DVR-ing some faves that I missed last time around.

The fun thing about watching old Twilight Zone episodes is to see all of the then-young stars who appeared in them. To name a few:
- William Shatner
- Telly Savalas
- Jack Klugman
- Burgess Meredith
- Bill Mumy
- Lois Nettleton
There are obviously many more, but these are some that spring to mind quickly.
