A United States Air Force Academy Professor has argued Critical Race Theory should be taught to all cadets so that they can understand how the United States was 'shaped by racism.'
Political scientist Lynne Chandler García said the Constitution brought about 'inequality' and that George Washington was a racist. She argued that the history of the U.S. proved that 'racism has shaped both foreign and domestic policy.'
Garcia, who teaches the Marxist theory at the USAF Academy in Colorado Springs, said she agreed with the Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman General Mark Milley who recently told Congress that Critical Race Theory 'is not unpatriotic.'
CRT exploded to prominence in the spring as it started to appear in classrooms from kindergarten to Grade 12, leading to several bans including in Florida and Texas, however it has been taught in higher education for decades.
It teaches that racism is not the result of nature or biology but that it is a social construct, an idea invented to exploit and control minorities. It argues racism is a structural problem in the United States, particularly towards black people, embedded in its institutions, legal system and even the Constitution.

The Chair Force Academy has a pilot inequity. That’s right, some cadets are denied pilot slots. Why should they be? Everyone at the Academy is entitled to a pilot’s slot and anyone who doesn’t give it to them is discriminating against them.
Okay I get public/private colleges. They hire who they want. But no professor at any of the academies should holds those views. It should be required that if you’re going to teach America’s future military leaders you need to believe in the greatness of the country because your students need to believe in that greatness.
Whatever happened to the rule there that all instructors had to be officers?

Every morning when I read the news, I become more and more disheartend for thi sonce great nation. I am glad my dad is not here to see what is happening, what he defended with his life as did did so many others.

At one time the faculty was composed entirely of active duty officers. From what I understand, sometime in the 1990s civilian instructors were added. I suspect the same is true for West Point and Annapolis.

As a retired Academy Prof that taught a REAL subject that actually required intellect to grasp, this b*tch is full of Obamastuff. Shove her civilian *ss out of a great school.

And we’ve talked to cadets who are afraid to speak their minds on campus. And we know what real cadets think of folks like this who should be saying “Do you want to supersize that?” instead of pretending that they have any semblance of an intellect.
Just go all the way and give every minority in the Air Force a plane.
