Customers who can prove they participate in a state or federal food assistance program will be exempt from the bag fee.

According to the law, the business can keep 40% of the fee’s revenue. The other 60% will go to their local municipality or county for administrative costs and waste diversion programs and outreach.

All restaurants are going to do is offer discounts on meals for those who order takeout and bring in their own bags and containers.

You cannot defeat supply and demand and American ingenuity.

Lesson Learned: CO voters voted for this crap. You should have banned “Rocky Mountain High” by John Denver and built a fence to keep all those hippy freaks out of CO. (just kidding of course)

They've been pulling this cr** in NYS. I simpkly carry my own bag and explain to them...I'll get you...a nickel at a time.

The nickel is not mandatory. It's up to the store. Some have wised up.

The time to get through checkout will increase exponentially as we wait for people to pack those damn bacteria-filled cloth bags. When I see those people, I add another five minutes to the wait.

What about my primary uses for them? 1.) Cleaning the cat litter box. 2.) Cleaning the ash from my Weber Kettle grill.

So...they want to get rid of safe, clean, single-use plastic bags and have customers drag in a disease-ridden rag from home that includes the illnesses that their pets added.

Nothing like lying through their teeth; Coronavirus bad and everyone needs to follow contamination avoidance but please bring your filthy disease-ridden carrier from home.

These people need to be charged for their crimes.
