A small school district in California is planning to spend $40 million teaching 'ethnic studies' to high school students - with consultants training teachers on the new curriculum at a cost of $1,500 an hour.
Hayward Unified School District in June became the first in the state to officially adopt the new curriculum, promising in a press release cited by an op ed in The Wall Street Journal that it 'will be informed by and include Critical Race Theory.'
On June 25, the Bay Area district announced that they had approved the teaching of ethnic studies throughout all grade levels, from preschool to 12th grade, and it will become a graduation requirement by the 2022-23 school year.

Hayward is in the San Francisco Bay Area...It is near Oakland...I have been to Hayward...I would say that Hayward is a little better than Oakland...

Yeah, a good tsunami of folks flooding the homeschool supplies stores.
There are barely enough whites to harass and humiliate in this school district at 4 percent. Are Asians going to be the substitute for Caucasians?

Not doing those kids any favors wasting $40 million dollars like that. Money would be better spent on an ESL program and school uniforms.

Hayward went woke, specifically Cal State-Hayward which now calls itself Cal State East Bay to hide its uselessness, some thirty years ago. It is the area ruled by Eric Swalwell.

With all these worthless studies they are importing into schools, where will the time be found for genuinely educational, worthwhile studies? Will these have to be a college course?
