In Congress, the Left has failed to achieve many of its priorities as moderate Democrats feel emboldened to blue dog their own party.

There are only two Senate Democrats standing in the way of eliminating the filibuster. If they are pressured into joining the 48 woke Dems to eliminate the filibuster, they will ramrod every Leftist wet dream into law.

In the House, Pelosi rules over the tiniest majority over the last 100 years. Doesn't matter, as the House Dems are totally obedient.

How emboldened are Sinema and Manchin?

I don't know anything about Sinema other then she seems to dress weirdly and seems to have more independence of thought then the average Rat.

Manchin - He wants to run for President. Every zig, every zag has to be interpreted in that light. He sees himself as the next Bill Clinton. Slick was sold to us as the middle answer between the left & right political extremes. Manchin is building a case for that type of sale. He can argue he's even a better choice then Slick, Manchin hasn't the zipper problem or the harpy wife. (As far as we know!) So Manchin is going to do the 1992 triangulation political ploy. I think he will fail because this is not 1992. The political demographics are very different now.

His fall back is be the next Byrd. A higher probability of success, but even that relies on past WV voting patterns which are no longer holding. Also he has RINO competition for “Byrd-dom” - Capito !
