Biden administration promoted 'Abolitionist Teaching Network' handbook pushing staff to 'disrupt Whiteness and other forms of oppression' in guidance on reopening schools

The Biden administration promoted a handbook urging teachers to 'disrupt Whiteness and other forms of oppression' in their Department of Education guidance on reopening schools, it has been revealed.

The government document published this year linked to the Abolitionist Teaching Network's 'Guide for Racial Justice & Abolitionist Social and Emotional Learning' in a section describing how schools are a 'microcosm of society' and conversations essential to 'race and emotional learning' should be 'anchor tenets' in schools.

The Department of Education handbook on how to welcome children back to classrooms following COVID states that schools have a share of $122 billion in funding from President Joe Biden's American Rescue Plan.

It's introduction includes ways to help students 'for whom the pandemic exacerbated pre-existing inequities'.

Abolitionist Teaching Network says that schools should '[b]uild a school culture that engages in healing and advocacy. This requires a commitment to learning from students, families, and educators who disrupt Whiteness and other forms of oppression.'

Their website also has various resources that link to ideas often associated with critical race theory - however they don't mention it by name.

'Abolitionist Teaching Network's mission is to develop and support those in the struggle for educational freedom utilizing the intellectual work and direct action of Abolitionists in many forms,' the website states.

Does disrupting Whiteness mean I get to wear blackface?

” This requires a commitment to learning from students, families, and educators who disrupt Whiteness and other forms of oppression.’”

...so they’re saying that “whiteness” automatically, with no regard to the character of the individual, is oppressive. So guilty without a chance to be proven innocent.

Not unlike what the Iranian clerics did to the University of Tehran and other similar institutions in the late 1970s, ridding them of “western” influence before reopening with an approved curriculum.

“The Biden administration promoted a handbook urging teachers to ‘disrupt Whiteness...”

Are they going to use the South African model?

Boy these Dems are really asking for it. They'd love another January 6 so they can dump the Constitution for good.

And people thought the 60s radicals just faded away.
Now they are in the highest positions of power...and they are running heater skelter (reference intentional).

I feel like at some point a form of Atlas Shrugged strategy will need to be employed.

Not white people fleeing to some mythical shangri-la paradise and leaving all the rest behind (like the achievers in Atlas Shrugged did) but just a day when white folk sick of being made the straw man for all of societies ills just call in sick for five days in a row. All of them (except the leftists).

After a week when there are broken down cars all over the side of the road because there aren't enough tow trucks or mechanics to work on them, people crying because their air conditioners are broken and nobody will fix them, childcare centers shut down because the care takers stayed home, and the internet is offline maybe enough will get the message.

But alas, it will never happen. Then again, if it did I suppose a fascist like Biden would call us all nazis and order the national guard to drag us to our jobs.

The government will absolutely enact forced labor.

We have seen a preview of their plans during the pandemic by labeling certain occupations as “essential”.

People were *allowed* to work... as if that was some sort of honor.

If a job is critically important to society, being allowed to work will easily be turned into being FORCED to work.

I was hoping that would have happened during the lockdowns. While leftist cities were labeling themselves as dangerous health hazards, they expected food, gasoline, and product deliveries to continue. Had delivery companies announced they would NOT endanger their delivery drivers’ health by requiring them to enter official hazard areas, the lockdowns would have ended abruptly when food and available fuel dried up.

I've heard that a typical city has enough food to last maybe five days without shipments coming in from outside. After that you get what's going on in South Africa.

Supplies wouldn’t last a day after an announcement about an embargo by suppliers.

Well, yes. That's true for sure. It would be chaos in the cities.

But then again in 2020 the dems actually ran on a platform of more chaos in the cities so it seems they wouldn't be overly upset. Chaos = dems grab more power.

That’s very true. But the orchestrated chaos democrats facilitated would have paled to what an embargo would have delivered. Democrat leaders would have been the targets of anger once supplies ran out, and local police might have likely evacuated to safety with their families.

Whiteness:

Show up on time for work.
Insist on the correct answer to a math problem.
Don’t fight over crab legs at Golden Coral.
Wear your pants around your waist.
Etc
