The 12 nations in Japan have been drawn into three groups of four teams. The top two in each group, along with the two best third-placed teams, qualify for the knockout bracket, to play quarterfinals and semifinals, followed by a bronze medal playoff and a gold medal match.

The dykes are running the team and the straight players are under pressure to participate. There are some very attractive straight players on the team, but I think there is a lot of descension on the team. At some point, allowing lesbians to intimidate the straight players always eventually ends in disaster.
It gets especially bad when one group of lesbians get into snits with others.

I just looked at the brackets and schedule. There are 12 teams in the tournament. Top 2 team in each of the 3 groups advance to the knockout round plus 2 3rd place teams. There will only be 4 teams out of 12 that don’t advance to the quarter finals.
It would be almost impossible for the USWNT not to make the final 8 teams going into quarter final matches. I would be just fine with the US team going home early.
