The NFL will pay very close attention to whether unvaccinated players follow Covid protocols this season, and if they don’t, the players will end up paying the league.
According to another in a series of recent and aggressive new restrictions targeting unvaccinated players, the NFL announced on Saturday that if a player violates one of the league-mandated Covid protocols that applies to unvaccinated players, they will receive a $14,650 fine.
The new penalty comes on the heels of another restriction announced this week in which the league said that if a Covid outbreak among unvaccinated players caused a game to be canceled, players from neither team would be paid. Moreover, the team that had the outbreak would forfeit the game and be liable for financial penalties.
“We do not anticipate adding a ’19th week’ to accommodate games that cannot be rescheduled within the current 18 weeks of the regular season,” the league stated.
According to NFL protocols, teams with 85% percent of their rosters vaccinated will have far fewer restrictions than teams that fall below that mark.
On Friday, longtime NFL assistant Rick Dennison parted ways with the Vikings after refusing to receive the coronavirus vaccine.

If enough players quit, they might change their tune.
Nobody is going to follow any lawsuit that will be summarily dismissed following years of waiting to be heard.
Note to African American players who thought their skin color/union/politics would protect them from Deep State: Suckers.
The players would have to sue their own union first, because it was the NFLPA that agreed to all this nonsense.

Professional sports are on life support.
Owners need to get more and more dictatorial, so the plug can be pulled completely.
I guess the unvaccinated players should join me and shun the NFL. It makes time for much fun stuff.
The NFL had a simple winning business model. Play football. Telecast football. Collect exorbitant advertiser revenues thru high viewership.
Now they’re working very hard to destroy the business model. It’s not easy to do, but they might succeed.
They’re losing fans, but Deep State is funneling them money.
For now.
Pro sports tend not to hire players for brains.
Owners aren’t worried.
But players should be.
The players are willing to wear uniforms, tuck in their shirts, and wear pink the entire month of October. One more thing will not force them out.
It’s not a violation of any of those. That single sentence shows you to be an absolute fool. Stop. Really, I can’t laugh anymore, guts hurt.

With few exceptions like star quarterbacks, NFL players are highly replaceable. NFL players learn this the hard way every few years when they are repeatedly forced to sign the worst collective bargaining agreement in all of professional sports.
I was really looking forward to the season but I can’t watch slavery.
