The Internet is full of videos of people trashing food joints because of things as mundane as too much ice in a drink. Expect to see someone go berserk when they are told they won’t be served. I feel sorry for the people working the counter who have to bear the brunt of the stupid decision made by the owner.
Can you imagine some poor pimply-faced manger telling some hungry, pissed off NY'er that he can't be served because his vaccine card it up to date?
So he needs ID to eat at Shake Shack but not to vote?
Maybe the owner will spare the counter people by having a bouncer at the door checking COVID cards the way a bar checks IDs. Hmmm...does that include the drive through?
