It took until the final few medal events of the Tokyo Olympics, but the United States pushed ahead of China to close the 2020 Games as the big winners. The U.S. took home more gold medals than any other country (39) as well as more total medals than any other country (113).

USA and China were locked at 38 golds apiece with only a few final medals to be decided. It was the U.S. women's volleyball team that earned the Games' decisive gold with a clean, three-set sweep over Brazil.

Team USA rounded out its haul with 41 silver medals and 33 bronze. Tokyo marks the seventh consecutive Olympics that the United States has taken home the most overall medals.

The Olympics ended when they started letting pros play.

Keeping pros out was a way for nobility to keep commoners out.

Awesome!!!

For all the disrespect shown to Old Glory and all the turning of the backs and kneeling, I didn’t watch a minute of the Olympics.

But I saw that awesome young woman who praised the United States and God. She was happy to represent her country.

Anything she endorses, I...and I suspect many other patriotic Americans...will buy.

As long as the shipping costs to Canada aren’t too outrageous! ;)

But I suspect she has fans up here.

Same could have been said for the Soviet Union and the Eastern Bloc, yeah? Did not stop them from being near dominate in the Olympics. The notion of “slaves” is relative, as well, given the mask and vaccine BS that is occurring in this country. Sheeple might be a better descriptive?

Mandatory IQ Passports should be required for people who watched the Olympics.

The CHICOM athletes are all full time professionals, backed by the state. So the US’s win over them is impressive considering many of its athletes are genuine amateurs that have jobs and school studies to deal with while training.

My British husband tells me that their Lottery funds the Olympic athletes Britain. Not exactly the Government, but close. Glad they did well though.

Many colleges are now cancelling non-profitable sports. This will affect our future Olympics in track and field, swimming, diving, water polo, wrestling, volleyball, rowing, handball, badminton, weightlifting, gymnastics, and others.
