A man who lost his entire immediate family to Covid in one week is urging people to get the vaccine.
Francis Goncalves’ mother, father and brother all died in hospital within two weeks of contracting coronavirus.
Despite his parents living with underlying health conditions, they, along with his brother, refused to take a jab.
‘(My family) got caught up in a lot of the anti-vaccination propaganda that’s going around,’ he told Wales Online.
‘It preys on people who are afraid and they fall into the trap.’
Francis, 43, who lives in Cardiff, is now speaking out so people who’ve been ‘misinformed’ by conspiracy theorists will consider getting vaccinated.

Sorry, that’s just not true. Just because you have a bad case of Covid even without vaccination does not mean you are going to wind up intubated or dying. this is the kind of silliness that makes this entire thing crazy.
This binary nonsense has to stop. No one, not one single person can tell you the likelihood that if you come into an ER because of Covid 19 that you will wind up intubated or die, regardless of your vaccination status.
Plenty of folks were discharged from hospital ER’s long before vaccines existed.

Life isn’t without risk, let those who are afraid segregate themselves but I am not taking this (my doctor told me not to) and I’ll live my life as I damn well please just as everyone should
That said I’ve made it top priority since last spring to keep myself as healthy as possible, at proper weight, exercise, vitamins, healthy diet, etc. so my risk is minimal.
