Coffee stains ... we don’t drink coffee or anything in the car. When we trade in cars after 10-12 years they look brand new. (No kids, grandkids, etc. - LOL.)

I don’t think I drink coffee to wake me up, exactly. Without it I’m just not as overall alert as I should be - in a fog. And I do like the taste of strong, FRESH, black coffee. I guess you could say I’m a coffee addict. ;)

My wife also likes it black, and extremely hot. I may not get the caffiene boost, but I don’t have the need for a ‘booster(s)’ as the day goes by.

I have never bought a new car or truck. We have lived on gravel roads, and had kids, and in recent years grandkids. For one thing, it lessens the grief of seeing a new door ding, when it already has a few imperfections. We do research the previous owner(s) though.

For example, if the vehicle has a bumper hitch with wear signs, or mounting marks indicating that it had one, we often move on. If the hitch shows no signs of being used, then we may consider it as not worked too hard. That advise was given to me decades ago by a friend who (now retired) that rebuilt engines and transmissions.
