I hate misleading articles like this. “Pandemic of the young”, “record high” hospitalizations, misleading graphic data. Look close at the graph of hospitalizations for 30-39 year olds. Intervals set to 0.5! Cases are “spiking”...the previous high was 2 cases per 100,000, now it is up to 2.5 cases per 100,000. Shameful fear-mongering through misinterpretation of data!

Exactly- and many people rush themselves to the hospital over the most minor things, like sniffles, if they are scared- so it’s meaningless unless they provide numbers of actual serious conditions that lead to ventilation and eventual death-

It’s at “record” highs of very low #s. There have only been 10,000 deaths in the US for people under 40 in the last 19 months from covid. Meanwhile about 27,000 died from a vehicle wreck in that time. These fear porn headlines are ridiculous.
