How much pressure is required to pull the trigger and can a toddler manage that?

It depends on the gun.
Let’s say 7 pounds, which is typical for a striker fired gun.
Could be less or more though.

Unless the toddler can be seen in the video, I believe it was the boyfriend who shot her and blamed the kid.

That’s what I’ve been thinking. How would a toddler know to even point a gun, much less even know to hold it right?

Couldn’t happen with a pistol with a grip safety. A firm grip is required to fire a round, I don’t think any toddler could accomplish that.
I’m thinking it will was a .22.

I’m sure my younger son could have fired one of my pistols when he was a toddler. I kept them locked up.

I have stock Glocks that measure less than 3 lbs on my pull scale. A toddler could easily manage that. I have adjustable triggers down to under a lb one of my F class rifle breaks at 6 ounces of pull.

How much pressure is required to pull the trigger and can a toddler manage that?Answer - not a lot if it's a Glock, or a Glock clone. Striker fired, cocked all the time with NO SAFETY.
(No, that silly little lever in the trigger is NOT a safety. A safety will prevent the gun from firing when the trigger is pulled. See the 1911, Beretta 92, all Walthers, und=und-und.
