Why don’t they just speak the truth and say gang of young blacks?
It’s because we are supposed to be politically correct. It is considered racist to say black kids are committing these crimes. So we are compelled by political correctness to be vague in the descriptions of the perpetrators.
If a reporter told the truth they'd be fired.
The press lies about race because they think it 'protects' blacks. It doesn't protect blacks - it doesn't protect the black community - it protects white liberal 'elites' and the power of the race card. Period.
