Lay off the facts... This thread is is meant to reinforce the leap of logic that people without the vaccine are better off and taking the vaccine is stupid.

Facts? You have long term studies no one is aware of? But if you want to talk the “science of observation”…Israel is a perfect microcosm of current vaccine efficacy (or lack thereof)

You dodge the real issue:

Unvaccinated adults 50+ are 17 times more likely to die than vaxxed counterparts

As of Aug. 7, unvaccinated adults between 18 and 49 years old were 25 times more likely to be hospitalized with COVID-19 than vaccinated adults of the same age. It’s not as simple to measure the number of times more likely this unvaccinated demographic is to die from the disease because there have been “virtually no deaths in vaccinated members of this age group,” according to Public Health officials.

Care to provide your facts that suggest no vaccine is a better strategy for the over 50 people who haven’t already recovered from an earlier case?

Anti-vaxers post these breakthrough cases as if it strengthens their case for not getting vaccinated. It doesn’t.

Actually correct. Accounting for the usual ~2 week lag, fatalities rose much more slowly in Israel (almost linear 7-day curve) than did corresponding cases (exponential).

At present it appears cases may have quickly peaked and begun heading downhill, much like Israel's very sharp previous peak. However, vaccines likely have little role in that, nor was there really ever more than hope they might.
