After they got caught ripping off their customers, why do they still have customers?

Money center banks make their contempt for small retail customers very clear - there is no sense in keeping accounts with them.

A good question. Why do WF and BofA have customers at all? Both f***ed me years ago. I’ll never deal with them again.

Never go to banks - my checking is in a credit union. Everything else is at Fidelity.

Why anyone stays with W/F is beyond me. I wouldn’t be surprised if the government shuts them down for fraud and unsafe banking practices.

This is the same bank that routinely repossessed cars from active duty service members in clear violation of Federal Laws.

The same bank that opened up phony bank accounts also in clear violation.

So, drunk and belligerent again and it is around 4:15pm Texas time on a Wednesday.

It is a disease. You really should reach out for help.

Wells Fargo are crooks, no one should be banking with them...

The literally were setting up fake accounts for folks just so they could get bonuses etc....

They committed fraud on foreclosures and stole peoples homes.

No one should be banking with them....

Why are you surprised they lied to you? They have been doing, and caught doing far far worse, for a long long time.

Chase and Citi Bank are even worse. I wish we could get back to the local banks we had prior to the 2008 meltdown

I thought you said you would quit doing meth.
Even if you didn’t get it from the gay bar this time.

According to Clark Howard, Wells Fargo is a criminal enterprise operating as a bank

Local banks and local credit unions are the way to go. If you live in a small town many of the people who work in them are your neighbors and friends or at least people you know; much better luck trusting people you know than trusting the huge mindless bureaucratic corporations who have to make commercials to get you to believe they care about you; to them, you’re just a number, another revenue stream as it were. Do more things local at your town/city mom and pop shops; stay out of wall marts and targets. IMHO

Well there are a few but there were a lot of small bank that were quite stable but when the bailouts came a lot of them couldn’t keep up with the massive requirements even though they didn’t get bailed out. They were usually financed by locals and were very cautious with lending and and your money was safe....until government strangled them.
