In PA, we have the highest gas tax in the Nation: 62ยข/ gallon, thanks to crap-for-brains Gov Tom Ridge. Once the gov has it as law/statute, it's not going away; it only gets worse.

My error: it was Gov Tom Corbett who raised the gas taxes to current levels.

Gov. Tom Corbett signed the bill ending the cap on oil tax receipts in 2013, thus causing the 30 cents or so rise in your gas prices.
