This is exactly why the military gives the ASVAB tests - it is an IQ test with a cut-off below which the military doesn’t want them. Military says at a lower IQ, recruits are discipline problems and have problems following orders.
That and the military wants to know who is able to repair and maintain their jets and other high-tech equipment. You’re not going to get that the low numbers.
Son took this test a few years ago - against my wishes - and scored a 99% - highest score given. He said the test was insultingly easy. Military desperately wanted to recruit him after seeing his scores. We said “over our dead bodies” - and I come from a military family...

And it is a sad commentary on American politics that the idiot who said that is in the White House.

Yes, the wealthy send their children to private schools - that have and have had in-school learning - like Gavin Newsom has done with his own children - while locking down the government schools, sending children home to be schooled by computers.
This didn’t seem to matter to Democrats in California - who overlooked Newsom’s rank hypocrisy and “do as I say, not as I do” means of governing the state.
As someone said above: He’ll probably celebrate at the French Laundry - and you can be sure it’ll be inside and without masks.

You can’t overcome genes and family support.
Most of this is a result of Lyndon Johnson’s “War on Poverty” which effectively destroyed the black family structure. Unwed births went from 24 to 77 percent.
Few have the courage to tell this truth.
