They don’t have a victim to report it stolen.

Other than he came back without her, got a lawyer and refuses to cooperate.

Blonde and attractive. What would people think if she were black? I’m waiting for the Justice Brothers to come out with their “statements of truth”.

Yes I have some doubts myself. If they got into it again and she fell and hit her head or something its likely at most manslaughter. I don’t get the total communication blackout. He probably did kill her but it just feels weird to me. Like maybe there’s something else going on.

A 22-yr-old woman does not stop communicating with everyone as long as she is alive.
It’s been 2 weeks.

My understanding is Brian grew up in Northport NY but his family moved to Florida when he was in high school. He may still have ties to the Northport area, but he and his family don’t live there.

-tbh this whole story has a Gone Girl vibe to it.

Why else would he need a lawyer?

I'd have done the same thing. I can't trust cops as far as I can throw 'em these days.

The only other plausible explanation I can come up with is that he did something criminal, she knew, and he killed her because he didn’t trust her to keep quiet.
But that’s because I watch crime dramas.
Most likely it was an impulse killing.
He drove a long way to home, when he could have called his family and asked for air fare. Leave her vehicle with local authorities.
Far as we know he didn’t tell his family he was returning alone.
Too bad no one’s allowed to check his phone. That’s sacred, like medical records. /s
She’s gone. Checks in with mom regularly, then stops. Millennials cannot just stop texting, phoning, posting. Millennials with OCD, there’s your evidence she cannot be alive.
