Good. Hope the explanation helps all here. Enteric coated aspirin allows larger doses of aspirin to be used in controlling the pain of arthritis. No matter how aspirin gets in the system it still has profound blood thinning properties and can cause real bleeding problems in that the clotting of blood is inhibited... dose dependent.

It was just an fyi. Parke Davis had a prescription aspirin, that was 1200 mg per tablet for arthritis— brand name Easprin (enteric aspirin). Sold/made the product for over the counter use as ... Ecotrin at lower dose.
