The UK is currently in the throes of a major energy crisis as gas prices have tripled since the start of the year and the country’s wind capacity has been underperforming recently, causing an electricity crunch that has sent electricity bills much higher than anyone is comfortable with. Earlier this month, the UK was even forced to reopen a coal power plant to supplant its gas-fired generation and whatever wind and biomass could generate.
The current situation in Europe is a great lesson in how not to do it when it comes to decarbonization. Yet, for a lesson to be useful, someone needs to pay attention to it.

Fossil fuels, especially oil, are the lifeblood of the economy. Without fossil fuels, the trucks won’t be making deliveries, and travel to and from work won’t be possible, and heating and cooling of homes and businesses won’t be possible.

I am 74 years old and I can’t see any of these changes they are talking about.
Winters are still cold, summers are still hot.
I’ve seen mild winters and brutal winters. Mild summers and Hotter than three shades of He!! summers.
There is nothing more fun than laying back and watching today’s young people fall for new versions of old scams our grandparents saw in their day and warned us about.
But the “whole” of it is....nothing that has been done to date...and this has been going on for years...has changed climate or global warming one little iota. Changing numbers does not a change make.

Suppliers like those in Texas
Texas has mandated that city water systems must have back up generators in case of an electrical failure. Last winter was a wake up call.

Everyone should remember the Winter a year ago in Texas.Texas gambled on Solar and Wind power when they are a Petroleum rich state as a result they got hit but a Frigid winter they’ll never forget because of the deaths and property damage due to the Non Heated homes and businesses.
Hopefully they realize the error of that decision and go back to petroleum and Natural Gas. Both of which are created every day in the earths core.They are Not fossil fuels.

The CEOs of the top five oil companies should meet Biden in the Oval Office and announce that effective immediately, all oil, gasoline, diesel and natural gas production will stop until further notice.
