A possibility IF his foot and ankle were immobilized in a CAST. [1][2]

There doesn't appear to be any news that he had a cast. Achilles injury on Sept 8th, then surgery 3 weeks later. [1]

It looks like he's conflating what actually happened to him, with something that could have happened to him (if he were in a cast).

It was the vax.
