He is not a politician so he says it like it is. He has my vote for Governor, hell I will work for his campaign. It is like the story “The Emperor has No Clothes.” Gays should not be discriminated against nor should they be held up as shining examples over a sex act. Nobody wants to say that out loud. Except Robinson, who just told everyone the emperor has no clothes.
This could setup a very interesting battle. Mecklenburg and Asheville are so gay they fart rainbows. But they have large black populations. Anybody who thinks Southern Christian blacks are in amoral lockstep with liberals has been living in an echo chamber. The two biggest liberal voting blocks in North Carolina could find themselves at odds come 2022.

You left out Sylva, NC......a few weeks ago they had their first ‘gay parade’......and the hometown paper ran it.
I knew Sylva ran a bit liberal, but never expected this!
There are many small towns around that abhor this.......salt of the earth, church going.....
...but with a Democrat Governor...and aDemocrat mayors in some of these towns.....it’s hard.
A lot of these folks have been Democrat through many generations.....
....a lot of hem voted for Trump in 2016......
They are conservative as the day is long.
