Williamson might not be a Trumpist, but he is very much a conservative. His caustic critiques have generally been described as “fearless”, when they are really just cranky and nasty. He, like most true conservatives, thinks of himself as better than anyone else, and he say so to your face.
This book is pure Williamson. No empathy. All insult. He lets 40+ years of anti-worker policies completely off the hook (why not? he also hates unions), and blames working people completely for their current plight.
As the reviews say, he came from people like this. And its clear he’s still trying to show how much he’s “better than that now”.
