Sometimes, saying what you think is counterproductive. Speaking ill of the recently dead is almost never helpful and in many cases, harmful. This is one of those occurrences.
We'll have to dissagree. Collins is as much of a Republican as Jordon only when it comes to determining chamber leadership. Leadership is indeed important and that's why sometimes you have to pick your battles. Better to have a RINO in office and retain chamber leadership, than to vote the Rino out and lose leadership to the Democrats. Because then you have little control.
But when it comes to voting in line with Republican espoused ideals. Collins is a RINO and Jordan is not. Collins scored 43% by the American Conservative Union, whereas Jordan scored 100%. No comparison.
RINO's do a lot of damage. And we should primary them any time we have a strong candidate that can win in the general election. And sometimes even when we don't.
RINO's are why Republicans weren't able to take advantage of Trump's first two years. Trump was amazingly effective but he was a one man show. If the GOPe had been team players, Trump could have done far more.

There was a coalition of two types of people who assembled together to get Trump elected president in 2016.
On one hand were his base of supporters who loved him and fully supported his MAGA agenda.
On the other hand were people who didn't like him at all but really, really, really f**king HATED Hillary Clinton!
He still has his base. They haven't left him. But if he wants to have a future in politics, he's going to need the other coalition of people who really don't like him but will have to bite their lip and vote for him anyways.
This doesn't help. All it does is remind these people that at the end of the day, Donald Trump has no class.
