Partial human remains were reportedly located in a Florida nature park where authorities have searched for Brian Laundrie, and a medical examiner has responded to the area, in the search for the fugitive wanted in the Gabby Petito case.
The discovery of remains comes after some items belonging to Laundrie were found in the Myakkahatchee Creek Environmental Park.
Law enforcement sources told NBC News that the remains were found in a section of the Myakkahatchee Creek Environmental Park that had previously been underwater due to heavy rains.
A cadaver dog also has been deployed to the scene, CNN reported. A tent was set up in the area, according to chopper video posted by a reporter for News Nation Now.
Laundrie’s belongings were discovered Wednesday at the heavily wooded park, where his parents arrived in the morning, the family’s lawyer, Steven Bertolino, told The Post.

Really quite insane that this is happening right after the parents visit the area.
That occurred to me also.
Diversion is the oldest trick in the book. He may not have killed anyone else, but I believe he did leave things there to be found.
The body, if not his, is one more missing person found while looking for the bastidge.

Heh! Heh! Heh! I knew it all along. Gabby’s Dad did what the courts would never had done. He got the louse first. As a father of daughters, i have thought about what I would do to anyone who harmed them and their fate was gruesome.
It’s just a matter of how broken down said remains are.
The medical examiner is unlikely to be fooled. Dental records and DNA are hard to fake.
