That was unkind.
I agree with you.
Guarantee it was a cartridge conversion.
I think someone got a very serious punking.
Funny you mention that. You know Tom Berenger was one of the most underrated action movie stars. I had always thought he’d be the 2nd coming of Steve McQueen.
That is some seriously stupid behaviour on his part.
The worst movie of all time was the So-called “Isaac Asimov’s Nightfall”.
To say it was the worst ever adaptation of the written word to the silver screen would only be inaccurate because this flick bore almost no relation to the Great Man’s work.
Should you ever have an opportunity to see it, don’t.
Just don’t.
'A gun had two misfires in a closed cabin. They just fired loud pops – a person was just holding it in their hands and it went off,' they said, apparently referring to unintentional discharges.
Describing another "accidental discharge" earlier in the week. It just "went off" all by itself. Happens all the time. Yeah, that's the ticket.
You underestimate the stupidity of Liberal Leftists.
Why is everyone following this trail of breadcrumbs to blame the non-union, alleged movie armorer?
Why isn’t everyone focusing on a radical Leftist that supports the Democratic Party:
But doesn’t want to pay the fair and equal wages to the UNION folks the Left supposedly supports, so they force the union folks off the set to hire cheaper, non-union folks
Is a rabid, violent eftist that hates guns but will make a movie where the guns he hates are a central fixture in his attempt to make a profit. A profit that no Leftist should make; as all the money should be distributed to everyone equally
Let’s forget about the hypocrisy of Baldwin so everyone can talk about the fundamentals of gun handling and live ammo.
This whole story has a fishy smell to it.
Hey, what happened to my spanking comment?
I hear Netflix made a pretty serious mess of "Foundation" as well. I haven't had the heart to find out for myself...
I hate to be cynical, but IATSE, a Hollywood craft union and the studios are squalling.
And the IATSE guys all walked off of the set of this production the same day that this happened, including the armorer, who was under normal circumstances, the only person with unrestricted access to those guns.
Not making an accusation, but the unions have been known to do some fairly reckless things during a dispute.
I tend to agree...someone needs to detail why live ammo even appeared on the set at all. I could understand having it on a African safari-type movie set, but this was New Mexico. It just sounds like the guns in question were used for target-practice on weekends, and brought back to the set on Monday.
which one ? the one with David Carradine, or the other one
Yeah, there is that possibility. Still, the new armorer should have double-checked all the guns on the table.
Ok. Could be that.
We were told the shooting happened during a rehearsal. Why was Baldwin pointing and shooting a gun at two non actors during a rehearsal?
Exactly- because there are no do-overs in life- Yuo can’t respawn to try again— folks today play video games where they get multiple lives if they mess up in the game- multiple chances- real life aint like that
I see so many movies where the ones holding the guns swing them round, carelessly pointing them at other actors- or their own faces, or hand the gun to someone barrel first- sure, they are prop guns, but the point is that people watch movies like this and don’t realize that you never point guns at anyone- accidents are forever in some cases-
I’ve seen hunters walking along holding their rifle across their chest (because it’s easier to walk long distances like that- the gun gets heavy after awhile) and their buddy is walking beside them and the gun is pointed right at the buddy- It’s unreal- even hunters sometimes don’t realize- and some folks much with their triggers to make them more sensitive- less hard to pull- for accuracy reasons, and these guns have hair triggers- The trigger can even snag on a crumpled part of coat as the gun moves while walking, or catch o n a twig walking through brush, or fall and go off etc—and off it goes-
We were always taught to ALWAYS consider a gun to be loaded, EVEN IF you think it’s not- too many people have together they put away their gun unloaded and ‘safe’ but found out the hard way that they didn’t- or that someone else used the gun without them knowing it- and left it loaded-
...and never let anyone point a firearm at you!
