By the way, on the Illinois dph, it says 18% of the deaths and 28% of the hospitalized were age 18-65. So, it’s not just the “elderly”.

My wife was just telling me about her conversation with the check-out gal at the grocery store. (Wife picks her lane, they share the same doctor and are friendly.)
Check out gal was saying how she had just got the booster shot and had been really sick for several days. “But - you have to get it - right!?”

The math is wrong in the article. They could have adjusted the count for the number of deaths per a day after the fact. If this is the case, I wonder, why they did not adjust the breakthrough data.
Looking at the daily death chart I found:

For a total of 179.
119/179 = 51% rounded up

I found this tidbit on the IDPH website. So they have no interest in how many of the total cases are breakthrough
The reaction to the Wuhanic Plague exposed who was already a sheep. I was surprised at the number of people begging for a boot to lick, begging for someone to kick them around.
