Country star Keith Urban stepped in for Bryan Adams at tonight’s (Oct. 30) Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony. Adams was set to perform in a medley of songs with Christina Aguilera, Mickey Guyton, H.E.R. honoring inductee Tina Turner — recreating his duet of “It’s Only Love” (from his 1984 album, “Reckless”) with H.E.R. — but had to pull out of the ceremony last-minute due to a positive COVID-19 test, sources tell Variety.
The Canadian rocker was tested in advance of arriving in Cleveland for the festivities. All participants in the Rock Hall ceremony were required to show a negative COVID test regardless of vaccination status. A rep for Adams confirms the positive test and tells Variety that Adams is fully vaccinated and showing no symptoms.

Although I was never a big fan, it’s surprising that Tina Turner wasn’t inducted years ago.
She was being inducted for the second time, becoming one of only three women in the institution’s history to be inducted twice.
LOL!
Yep, Ike and Tina Turner were inducted in 1991.
Ok, thanks. I didn’t know you could be inducted twice.
LOL
Do all of these Rockers testing positive even have the damn thing?
Ah ha…. yet another “case”. When will these never ending tests of perfectly healthy people end?
She was inducted with Ike Turner 30 years ago.
“Do all of these Rockers testing positive even have the damn thing?”

IMHO, hell no! In a normal year during flu season, do we repeatedly test perfectly healthy people for the flu? No, we test sick people to determine specifically what infection they have.
This mass testing regime, at this point, is merely to provide pretext to keep the unneeded closures and restrictions going. They are desperate to keep it going through the 2022 election.
That has to cut like a knife.
Eric Clapton has been inducted with two bands and individually. Several others men have been inducted twice.
He must have got it from a one night love affair.
Different bands, different inductions. Solo act, another. Ron Wood was inducted for his time in The Faces and The Rolling Stones for example. I imagine Rod Stewart has two as well. Eric Clapton might have three or four.
I remember a review of an Anne Murray album: “Canada deserves our acid rain”.
First Garth Brooks, then Bon Jovi, then Juice Newton and not this...even Bryan Adams, the singer of those torch songs, now has the virus despite being vaccinated.
Probably because all she sang was other’s music. That’s why she had to always tour. Write your music, sit home.
Vancouver. Saw him in a sushi bar. 2 pieces in a sushi bar and he left. That’s it.
