Alice Cooper Announces Winter 2022 US Tour; The legendary shock rocker has also confirmed his annual Christmas Pudding benefit concert for December 4th (while others cancel, Alice rocks on)

Having just wrapped up his fall outing, Alice Cooper has announced brief 2022 US winter tour. He has also confirmed that his annual “Christmas Pudding” charity concert will return on December 4th of this year in Phoenix, Arizona.

Cooper’s next tour leg will kick off on January 28th in Cincinnati, Ohio, and wrap up on February 8th in Orlando. The day after that, Cooper will hit the high seas as host of the Monsters of Rock Cruise.

However, the shock rock legend does have one more party planned for 2021. After taking a year off due to the pandemic, his annual holiday bash “Christmas Pudding” is back for its 19th iteration. The event benefits the free music, dance, arts, and vocational programs for individuals 12 to 20 years old at Alice Cooper’s Solid Rock Teen Centers.

The celebrity guests attending Christmas Pudding 2021 are still to be announced, but the show will surely boast some high-profile rock stars and friends of Cooper. In 2019, the founding members of the Alice Cooper band (Michael Bruce, Neal Smith, and Dennis Dunaway) made an appearance alongside Judas Priest singer Rob Halford, Johnny Depp, and more. The year prior, it was headlined by the Cooper-Depp-Joe Perry supergroup the Hollywood Vampires.

“The uniqueness of this concert is that you’ll never see this caliber and variety of artists on the same stage again,” Cooper told the Arizona Republic of the upcoming charity show.

In our recent interview with Cooper, the legendary singer discussed his recent tours and being back on the road in 2021. “There were times where bands said, ‘Well, maybe this is it. Maybe there is no more touring,'” Cooper told Heavy Consequence. “But now, everybody’s back out there. The audiences are amazing; they are so hungry for live music. That’s what we do. We were like little kids — we were giddy about even rehearsing.”

You can purchase tickets to Cooper’s upcoming shows starting Friday (November 5th) at 10 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster., with pre-sales starting as early as tomorrow (November 2nd).

See the full list of dates for Alice Cooper’s 2022 US tour below, followed by a video promo for the jaunt. While Ace Frehley supported the fall run, no opening act has been announced for the winter jaunt as of yet.

I caught Alice Cooper on his fall 2021 tour. He was spectacular, and his band was smokin'. (Ace Frehley, the opener, was about as good as a bar band...sorry).

I think it's telling that other bands are canceling their tours while Alice keeps plugging away.

And for all the leftist bands talking about inclusion etc., Alice has "her royal highness" Nita Strauss tearing it up. And if that isn't cool, Alice accidentally beaned her with flying pieces of his broken cane: ""When I joined the @alicecooper band in 2014, he gave me the same promise he gives all the touring band members: 'You’re going to see the world, you’re going to get paid, and you’re going to get stitches.' He left out 'oh and you may get brained by flying broken cane pieces from the first song. All in a day’s work on an Alice Cooper tour. No real harm done."

He threw a cane right dead into my chest, one time.

Now THAT has gotta hurt.

The worst that ever happened to me was losing my hearing for three days after watching The Hooters in my high school auditorium where they had amplification for Madison Square Garden.

You can see my little redheaded self to the left of the monitor and literally hear my loudmouth hubby screaming my name when it hit me, even over the loud music.

Later, Alice screams at me for not throwing the balloon fast enough.
Kinda thought he was gonna stab me.

Hit me in my bony chest, vertically, right between my bewbs.
He’s in the knife thrower’s hall of fame and you can see him look to see where I am and *thwock*, there it went.

Worst thing was that old theater’s springy floors.
They were wooden and literally pulsating from the music and I was wearing high heels.

Chuck kept trying to throw me bass picks at one point and I was nearly “bouncing” so badly I couldn’t catch them.
It was like standing on the edge of a trampoline while a mob of kids were playing in the middle.

I’m sure he thought I was “spayshul” or something.

:\

LOL

Only reason I watched that movie.

Try to get hold of the movie “SUCK”.

Alice steals the show.

I saw Anthrax outside of Philadelphia at an old place called The Tower in 1987.

This was when stage diving and the band letting the audience on stage was new. Security had no idea what to do. The mosh pit was like a swarm of bees.

Their first encore was the Pistols' God Save the Queen. About 20 fans stormed the old, wooden stage and you could see it bow like a trampoline and watch the speaker columns sway. The band stopped, and Joey the singer implored the crowd to stop "or else the stage will collapse and we'll all die."

It was one of the best concerts ever.

Not me.

I wanna be hit with sticks.

;D

I’ve said here, several times “Alice Cooper hit me with a stick”.

Now there’s a real conversation starter.

Alice took to doing double shows with some of his freinds.

I really would have liked to go to the Cooper/Zombie show but was afraid Rob’s Mob would pick me up and toss me around, so I didn’t.

Me too.

He said he intends to drop dead onstage.

Question is, how long until the audience figures out it’s not part of the act?

/saw the “Theatre of Death” tour, twice, and he “died” four times each show

There's something to be said for having unpredictability in a show...that makes it interesting. But having a high probability of losing an eye or your life isn't my idea of a good time.

I caught Big 4 - Anthrax, Megadeath, Slayer, and Metallica - at Yankees Stadium about 10 years ago.

I was in the cheap seats but I was sitting. That was unpredictable...it was cool.

The floor was a different story..that was bedlam. The mosh pit during Anthrax's "Indians" may have set a world record.

The floor calmed down for Megadeath but for Slayer - not a band I'd pay to see unbundled - they were possessed. I was safe in the seated class.

I know a young musician who had a chance to open for Mötorhead. He was excited at the idea, but his management basically said, Lemmy's fans want one thing: Lemmy...they'll pelt you with bottles. He didn't take the gig...smart kid.

Before Redd Foxx died of a heart attack on the set of a TV show, he did his scripted pass. However, he fell to the floor immediately after doing so. Actress Della Reese said that nobody initially suspected anything was wrong. Foxx, after all, was famous for having Fred Sanford fake heart attacks on Sanford and Son and was particularly skilled at pratfalls. Reese went to the floor when Foxx did not immediately rise and heard him say "get my wife" twice. Reese called for paramedics.

I paid $500 for front row tickets just so I could be spattered with “blood”, covered in confetti, draped with balloon shreds, have “She’s Poison” screamed right into my face, and get “Billion Dollar Baby money” and “Dirt Diamond” beads thrown into my lap...and get hit with a stick.

;D

It’s a fun memory, I bet! When I was younger, one of the Manowar band members asked me for a kiss and it’s on a youtube video somewhere. That was pretty exciting at the time.

Good times. I was just lucky to find a couple YouTubes of the show.

Funny to see my silly self there.

Put that cane in a display case right over a huge 4' x 5' wall bill from his concert in Paris, many years ago.

This is the photo used but the ALICE COOPER is huge dripping red font on the left-upper corner and the rest is in French.

This is on a shelf to right of it but I put blue glass eyes in it...it watches me. :D
