My guess is the decrease has nothing to do with the hpv vax, and more to do with the acceptance and promotion of pornography to replace sexual relations.

From the self-evident anti-vaxxers who claim to not be against vaccines just against the COVID-19 vaccines.
When I came across the HPV vaccine debate years ago, I came across a lot of stories about formerly healthy young women who were virtually catatonic after receiving it. I never had a thought about the safety of vaccines before that but it really made my antenna go up.
One doesn’t have to worry about getting HPV if one refrains from being a skeeze. I feel sorry for girls who aren’t at real risk for catching HPV (genital warts!) who get talked into the vaccination.
