Fun trivia: The line “Soon found out, had a heart of glass” was originally “Soon found out, was a pain in the ass.”

The song might have had the title “Pain In The Ass” if they hadn’t replaced that hook line.

That lyric does survive in the final verse - but yes, good trivia there. Making the title “Heart Of Glass” catapulted Debbie Harry and Blondie into superstardom.

I’m not saying it was aliens.. But in 79 we enjoyed a wonderful time together after the concert in Lubbock. No .. There was no hanky paky. Just a few hours of honest talk. Real stuff.

Thanks Laz. I wondered how many posts until that came up. One album version in-fact used those lyrics but I don’t recall where.

I think there’s two cuts of that. One an album edit and one a “radio edit”. I’ve heard it both ways.
