I call it the “Unicorn technique”.
The local bank uses a picture of a light-skinned black man holding a baby.
Our area is totally segregated—the suburbs are virtually all white—cannot remember when I saw any black person in a suburban bank.
In the big city there are a lot of blacks in the bank, but they are dark-skinned, almost no light-skinned blacks to be found.
As for babies, their black mothers in the city are almost all single moms—the fathers disappeared long ago.
The light skinned black father with a baby is a Unicorn—never been seen anywhere in the area!
I forgot to mention that this bank has maybe half a dozen locations. They’re not in suburbs or cities. All in 97% white rural towns.
