We have it and we have hypersonic weapons. We just don’t allow our enemies to see it like China did.

Besides a hypersonic interceptor I think the future will be a laser based interceptor, what’s faster than hypersonic ??
A laser based system, is it star wars fantasy, perhaps but so was hypersonic speed 10 or 20 years ago

Big booster + a glide body is not hard. The material and navigation is hard.
We have it. . .since the mid-60’s. Technology demonstrator and refinements over decades but presentations to CJCS at the time (Michael Mullen) went no where. . .he had more “important” stuff to fund.
