Call them American Biscuits and you are all set. Mr. Thomas made a fortune selling “muffins” that didn’t resemble anything we had here, even though “English Muffins” weren’t native to England, either.

‘Biscuits’ are cookies in the UK.
US biscuits are more like scones, but, as the guy said, don’t taste like them.
I wonder what Brits think of bagels?
