Why anyone likes Popeyes mystifies me.
Cuz it beats KFC?
They market Louisiana cooking without all that crawdad/mudbug/gator on menu..
And one need not travel to or through Louisiana, to get a taste..
Sometimes Popeyes isn’t even in rough neighborhoods.
I recall one being part of a truck stop in Oregon.
If truckers will eat it, it’s okay by me..
Same...bland.
My favorites are Church’s and Hardees, when they had Roy Rodger’s chicken. Web searches tell me that there’s still a Hardees two hours away from me that sells that chicken. I better go soon while I can still afford the gas.
